It has been reports which was yet to confirm that in the upcoming movie CBI 5 of Mammootty directed by K Madhu and penned by S N Swamy, the elements of Kudathai incident will come into play. It has been words from the writer that Mammootty had given some suggestions and add up to the completed script. The movie is introducing the concept of 'basket killings' in which many will be killed at different times with a same intention.
